In this article, we have attempted to provide the reader with a full history of the Citroën experience in Washington State and specifically, the Seattle-area. There were Citroën dealers in Seattle, Renton, and Tacoma but almost nothing in the other parts of the state. 

 

As a kid fanatical about Citroëns back in the late 1970's, I spent a lot of time hanging around many of the key Citroën figures in the Seattle-area.  Over the next decades, I became friends with many.  These friendships allowed me to have a richer understanding of the history of this marque and personalities in the Seattle-area. Unfortunately many of these people have now passed away.
